Our classic car restoration & restomod process

From initial assessment to final delivery, we follow a proven workflow that ensures every restoration meets our exacting standards for quality and authenticity.

The restoration workflow

Our systematic approach ensures no detail is overlooked, from the first inspection to final road testing

01. Initial Assessment

Comprehensive evaluation of your vehicle's condition, documentation review, and detailed photography. We identify structural issues, rust damage, and missing components to develop an accurate restoration plan and timeline.

02. Planning & Sourcing

We research factory specifications, source authentic parts, and create a detailed work plan. For restomods, we select modern components that integrate seamlessly with the classic chassis while meeting your performance goals.

03. Disassembly & Documentation

Complete teardown with meticulous documentation and photography of every component. Parts are cataloged, tagged, and stored. This phase reveals hidden issues and allows us to refine the restoration scope.

04. Body & Frame Restoration

Metal fabrication, rust repair, and panel replacement. For frame-off builds, the chassis is stripped to bare metal, repaired, and refinished. Body panels are aligned to factory specifications or better.

05. Mechanical Restoration

Engine rebuilding or modern drivetrain installation. Suspension components are restored or upgraded. Brake systems, fuel systems, and electrical wiring are rebuilt to ensure reliability and safety.

06. Final Assembly & Testing

Reassembly with new gaskets, fasteners, and fluids. Paint and interior work are completed. Extensive road testing ensures all systems function properly before delivery to you.

Restoration process FAQ

What is a frame-off restoration?

All mechanical components are rebuilt or replaced. This is the most comprehensive restoration approach, resulting in a vehicle that often exceeds original factory quality.
How long does a complete restoration take?
A frame-off restoration typically requires 16-28 months depending on the vehicle's condition, parts availability, and scope of work. Partial restorations or mechanical-only rebuilds can be completed in 6-12 months. We provide realistic timelines during the planning phase and keep you updated throughout the process.
